Construction:
Rails extend into routed holes in the posts by 1 1/2”, typical. Rails are crimped at the ends and lock into place, once inserted.

Bottom:
1” x 6” tongue and groove boards or v-matched shiplap.

Top:
1 1/2”–1 1/2” spindles 21” high

Dressing:
Bottom fascia 1” x 6”; top and middle fascia 1” x 4” routed.

Top Cap:
1” x 4” with bull nose. All fascias routed.

Construction:
2” x 4” square cedar backrail mortised.
